Fascinated by color and design from an early age, Joe pursued a degree in Housing and Interior Design from the University of Kentucky College of Design. Upon graduation, Joe moved to San Antonio to study architecture and at the same time began work for John-William Interiors as both a salesperson and designer. In 1992, Joe moved to Houston and worked for The Pace Collection, a high-end contemporary furniture company which offered distinct furniture and services to the residential and contract interior design trade. While at The Pace Collection, Joe launched his namesake firm, Joseph Zoellers Interiors. In the twenty-plus years since, Joe has traveled extensively throughout the world, even living for a time in the UK, Australia and Canada. Joe has completed countless interiors for an wide array of clients in New York, Houston, Miami, Dallas and the Washington DC area.
Joe’s style is a seamless blend of European classicism and American modernism—always fresh, always evolving, always underscored by the belief that everyone should live with things they love. Since founding Joseph Zoellers Interiors, Joe has become known for beautifully composed interiors that seek out the perfect object, work of art or antique to create environments that reflect the lives and lifestyles of his clients.
